With each release, I felt lighter and happier
Kate wanted to be more successful in her business, but felt that something was blocking her inside. As we explored her beliefs about self-fulfillment, a strong inner message emerged. It was, “if I had complete fulfillment, I would be cheating someone else out of theirs.” We began the process of using EFT to ‘peel away the layers of the onion’ and find out where that belief came from.
With each round of tapping, more childhood messages emerged: “If you were successful, you would be deprived of love – someone would be hurt – money is sticky and nasty – your priorities would be wrong – you would have to pay a penalty.” We continued tapping for all of these old inner messages and they began to collapse. Kate began to laugh. She began to see that she wouldn’t take anything away from others by being successful. On the contrary, by holding herself back, she was depriving others of the gifts she had to give the world. She saw that being successful with her healing work would add to others’ success as well. She experienced a new sense of lightness and freedom within and could now imagine herself moving forward.

Before my session with Betty, there was a big boulder in the way of my belief about my ability to reach a level of success that I knew I deserved. Since I have a very strong Catholic background I was unaware of all the unworthy thinking buried in my inner self. Amazingly it all began to tumble out of me as we tapped and poked our way around inside of my thoughts. With each release I felt lighter and happier. There was much laughter bubbling up in me that felt freeing and exciting. I remember the thought “from this time forward, everything I touch is golden.” Several weeks later, I feel that this is true. I speak and act my own truth with greater freedom and grace. I am making changes gently that I need to make for my own well being, and other people tell me that I look calm and peaceful. I feel that this process is still evolving inside of me. Should I feel another block I will gladly seek Betty out again as she is a wonderful guide and a gifted healer.
